A quick note from Adel

You do not have to explain the loop neatly. You can tell me what happens at 2am, after a conversation, before a decision, or when the room finally goes quiet. We start there, with real life rather than a perfect label.

The Pattern

Overthinking is often protection that has become exhausting

Overthinking can look sensible from the outside. You analyse, prepare, replay and plan because some part of you is trying to prevent mistakes, awkwardness, conflict or uncertainty.

The problem is that the mind rarely finds the final answer it is looking for. It keeps checking, rehearsing and scanning, even when you are tired and already know enough.

Hypnotherapy may help by working with the learned pattern underneath the loop. The aim is not to stop you thinking. It is to help your mind and body learn that they do not have to stay on watch all the time.

Is This Familiar?

This may sound familiar

Overthinking is personal, but these are some of the ways it often shows up.

Constant analysing

Going over details again and again, trying to be certain before you can relax.

Replaying conversations

Thinking about what you said, what they meant, and what you should have done differently.

Planning every outcome

Trying to prepare for every possible version of what might happen next.

Struggling to switch off

Finding that quiet moments, bedtime or downtime are when the loop gets louder.

Mental exhaustion

Feeling tired from thinking, even when nothing obvious has happened.

Needing reassurance

Wanting certainty from others, then finding the relief does not last for long.

How Hypnotherapy May Help

Working with the overthinking pattern

Hypnotherapy is not about forcing yourself to be different. It can support a more useful response by working with attention, imagery, suggestion and rehearsal while you remain aware and involved.

Loosening the loop

We look at what sets the loop off and what your mind is trying to protect you from.

Rehearsing a different response

Hypnosis can support calmer inner rehearsal while your attention is settled and focused.

Bringing it into real life

The work is linked back to ordinary situations, so the new response has somewhere practical to go.

What Sessions Are Like

Calm, practical work at your pace

You remain aware, involved and in control throughout. We work gently with the overthinking pattern, without forcing anything.

We start with the pattern

We talk through when the overthinking appears, what it is trying to solve, and what keeps it going.

The hypnosis is collaborative

You remain aware, involved and able to stop. I guide the process, but nothing is forced.

We keep it practical

The aim is a more useful response in real life, not a perfect mind that never thinks.

A Careful, Honest Approach

Careful work, no big promises

I will not promise that you will never overthink again. Thinking is part of being human.

The work is about helping the automatic loop soften, so you have more choice about where your attention goes.

Hypnotherapy is not a replacement for medical, psychiatric or emergency care. If something is outside my scope, I will say so and suggest a more appropriate route.

Free consultation first

Before any paid session, we can talk through what you want help with, what you have already tried and whether hypnotherapy feels like a sensible next step.
